Answers,
before you ask.
Everything buyers usually want to know about our stone, our workshop and the journey to your door. Can’t find yours? Write to us — a person replies, not a bot.
01The stone
Is the piece I see in the photo the exact one I receive?
For ready-to-ship pieces, yes — what you see is the piece photographed. For made-to-order furniture, we select the slab after your order and send you photos of the actual stone plus the cutting layout for approval before any cutting begins. Nothing is crafted sight-unseen.
Why does the veining look slightly different from the photo?
Natural stone is formed in quirks, not patterns. Tone, movement and density vary from slab to slab and even across one slab. These variations are the signature of quarried stone — not a defect, and not grounds for return.
How do I care for natural stone furniture?
Every piece leaves the workshop sealed. Wipe with a soft cloth and pH-neutral cleaner, avoid acidic products and standing water, and re-seal once a year. Full care instructions ship with your order.
02Ordering & payment
How do I pay?
Card and PayPal at checkout; bank transfer for large or bespoke pieces — we issue an invoice with payment link once your quote is confirmed.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Contact us within 24 hours of ordering and anything is possible. After that, orders already in production carry a 10% cancellation fee; shipped orders cannot be changed. Bespoke pieces become final once you approve the drawing — which is exactly why every dimension is confirmed in writing first.
Do I need a quote before ordering?
Only for bespoke work. Stock pieces check out directly. For custom dimensions or stones, email us — an itemised quote lands within 48 hours.
Will I pay extra taxes or duties?
For the US and most destinations, no — the price you pay covers it. For some European countries, import VAT and handling are collected on delivery and not included in our prices; ask us before ordering and we will confirm your case.
03Production & delivery
Where do you ship, and from where?
Worldwide, from our own workshop in China (APO/FPO/DPO addresses excepted). Everything ships fully insured.
How long will my order take?
Smaller objects leave the workshop in 2–4 weeks. Larger made-to-order furniture takes 8–14 weeks depending on size and complexity. Each product page lists its estimate; the banner at the top of the site reflects current workshop lead times.
Is shipping really free?
Insured DHL shipping is free on orders over $3,000. Below that, shipping is calculated at checkout — heavy stone travels on real logistics, and we would rather show it honestly than hide it in the price.
How do I track my order?
You receive a tracking number by email the moment your piece ships. Large bespoke pieces additionally come with photo and video sign-off before crating, so you know exactly what is on the truck.
04Damage & returns
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Check the item while the driver is still there. If the crate or piece is damaged, note “damaged” next to your signature on the receipt, photograph everything, and contact us within 48 hours — please do not refuse the package, as that only complicates the claim. We will make it right.
Can I return a piece I don’t love?
Stock pieces can be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused and in original packaging; return shipping is on the buyer and we refund within 7 working days of accepting the return. Bespoke pieces, once the drawing is approved, are made to your specification and cannot be returned.
What is not covered?
Natural variations in veining and tone (that is the material, not damage), and hairline character marks documented in your pre-shipment photos.
